WHAT IS TOUCH A TRUCK?!
We’re glad you asked!
Touch a Truck is an event that invites community members of all ages to learn more and interact with community vehicles, such as fire trucks, police vehicles, tractors, earthmovers, and more! You will also get to meet the experts who operate these machines!
CAN MY CHILD ACTUALLY TOUCH THE TRUCKS?
Yes. This isn't an auto show viewed from a distance. We want this event to be as experiential and playful as possible. Every vehicle will have an operator to share information and supervise the experience.
CAN I DUNK A HERO?
Yes, we have a dunking booth with members of the law enforcement community. $5 for three attempts or $25 to dunk someone automatically. This year it's POLICE vs. FIRE!
WHO CAN I DUNK?
Check the Team Leaderboard to see a list of our dunking booth volunteers.
IS THERE A SENSORY HOUR?
Yes, from 9 am - 10am, we will have a calm environment with no horns or sirens. Presented by Activekidz & Adult Therapy.
IS THIS A FUNDRAISER?
Yes, all proceeds benefit the Children's Museum of Rome.
WHERE DO I SIGN THE WAIVER?
All attendees must sign the liability waiver before entering the event. Children under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
