Communities in Schools supports and recognizes the lack of Student Basic Needs that some of our community youth and families are dealing with. As such, CIS serves as a clearinghouse educational partner for schools who may need help in this area for their student body.

Items needed include canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, canned soups, pre-packaged/canned pastas, nutritious breakfast bars/items, cheese crackers, etc. In terms of hygiene supplies, we request soap, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, female items, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. Additionally, CIS will also kindly accept financial donations in which we can purchase items.
