Needs From: United Way of Floyd, Polk & Chattooga County

Please read the volunteer requirements and details below BEFORE signing-up. You are signing up for June 8th - June 12th, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Volunteers must be 14 years old. Volunteers over 18 years old must pass a background check.  VOLUNTEER DETAILS: When signing up to volunteer, you are committing to be paired one-on-one with a participant with a disability for ALL 5 days (Monday - Friday) from 8:00am - 4:00pm (participants arrive at 9 am and leave at 3 pm).Each volunteer gets placed in a camper's unit (Oldest, Middle, & Youngest) for the duration of the week. If you volunteer multiple weeks, you may switch units based off of the sign-ups for that week. Age groups are based off of the participants age, but we do our best to place the volunteers in the most appropriate group.esp Rome holds Day Camp at Georgia Highlands College (Rome-Floyd Campus).
